Hi again - you all missed the most amazing Cabot Trail tour last weekend... while it rained much of the weekend in Halifax (so I'm told), it was sunny and glorious in Cape Breton - sunny and +18 and tailwinds on Saturday, sunny and +20 and moderate winds on Sunday.

So... don't miss this weekend's ride, which is entitled, "Collingwood - Wentworth".  Distance is 152km.  This ride will assemble at Glenholme to depart at 9AM Saturday morning.  We'll meet at the parking lot of the Petro-Canada Station which is just south of Exit 11 off Highway 104 at Glenholme.

The link to the route is

We'll head out along the scenic Parrsboro shore through Great Village and Bass River and Five Islands, then head north toward Southhampton and the beautiful Wyndham Hill Road.  After a pit stop at Collingwood, we'll head down a spectacular country road along the base of the Cobequids to the entrance to the Wentworth Valley, then enjoy the new pavement on the descent down Folly Mountain to Glenholme again.  The autumn leaves should be at perfection this weekend.
