ride on Saturday April 9th

posted Apr 5, 2016, 4:21 PM by Mark Beaver
Hello all - we had a very good if slightly damp first official club ride of the year last weekend, with 11 members attending in spite of the questionable forecast.

As of this writing, the forecast for this coming Saturday April 9th is actually looking pretty good.  Our ride this Saturday is entitled, "Gay's River - Stewiacke".  This is a perennial club favourite, with some new pavement to boot!

The link to the route is  As always, either load up your GPS gizmo or print off the cue sheet and bring it with you.

We'll meet in Elmsdale at the Sobey's Mall near the Tim Horton's, at exit 8 off Highway 102.  Please park vehicles near the guardrail, furthest away from the Sobey's, as this is a busy spot on Saturday. Please do not leave vehicles in the Tim Horton's parking lot.

We'll assemble for a 10AM departure - arrive 10 minutes early or arrive 20 minutes early if you plan to join me for a coffee and a bagel before the ride begins.  We'll head toward Gay's River and Coldstream then on to St Andrew's and Stewiacke, where we'll drop into the Stewiacke Tim's for a bite of lunch, then on through Shubenacadie and Milford back to the start/finish.  Distance will be 75km.  Hope to see you there!
