We had a good turnout last Saturday of seven riders for our 100-mile ride to Rawdon - and ended up riding under a rainstorm all the way back!  Congrats to all those who made it through in fine fashion.

This weekend we have our premier ride of the season - a 200km brevet in the Annapolis Valley!

This ride will assemble at the Tim Horton's in Coldbrook, just past Kentville.  Take Exit 14 off Highway 101 and turn left; the Tim's is just beyond the overpass.  Please park vehicles in the lower parking lot behind the Tims so as not to occupy all their parking spaces for the day.  Scheduled departure time is 8AM.

The route is  I will provide printed maps and cue sheets and brevet cards to the participants.

We'll ride down the south side of the Valley to Annapolis Royal on backroads all the way, have some lunch in Annapolis, then return on the north side of the Valley back to the start.  The apple blossoms should pretty much be at their peak this weekend so it should be a spectacular ride.  This is a very gentle route with only a few hills.

Please notify me by Friday if you plan to attend so that I can have time to prepare your maps and brevet cards.
