Randonneurs Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the route of our 1000km brevet, scheduled for July 11-12-13, 2015.

Link to the route is

We'll head down Nova Scotia's South Shore along small coastal villages to Mahone Bay and Bridgewater, then traverse the spine of the province to the scenic Annapolis Valley, then follow the coastline of the world-famous Bay of Fundy, home of the world's highest tides, to Annapolis Royal and Digby to Yarmouth, where we'll overnight. Then we'll continue along the South Shore through French Acadian villages like Tusket and Pubnico to Barrington and Shelburne along some fantastic Atlantic coastal scenery. At Liverpool, we head north once again to cross the spine of the province, through verdant pine forests past Kejimkujik National Park back to Annapolis Royal, where we'll overnight again. Our last day follows the fertile farmland of the Annapolis Valley to Wolfville and Windsor then back in to Halifax to finish.

If you're interested in joining us for our 1000k, email me at markbeaver61 (at) and I'll put you on the "interested" list - those planning to come will be requested to give firm notice by June 1st so we can book motel rooms. There will be bag drops at both night's rest stops.
